India: Plane Takes Off Amid Dense Fog at Delhi Airport

Dense fog over the past several days has continued to disrupt air and rail travel across parts of India, with conditions peaking on Monday, December 29, when Delhi’s IGI Airport saw 128 flight cancellations, dozens of delays, and several diversions as visibility dropped to around 125 meters. A pilot was killed on Saturday, December 27, when a Cessna 170A banner-towing aircraft crashed into the sea off Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. China: Luggage Catches Fire on Airplane, Cabin Crew Puts Out Blaze
